Okay so that's not it's actual name. But here's all the notes Hux takes on stuff. Most of it I'm going to just make a short note of and not type out because that's gotten pretty tedious.
Mana is a life force that runs through everything in this world. It has the highest concentrations in living beings, and each being has their own unique mana signature. The highest concentration of mana is in blood (see: vampires.) If mana is depleted through use, they will be rendered unconscious. Mana is regained through rest, and those well-rested and well-fed are less likely to lose mana as quickly. The more immersed in mana one is, the longer their lifespan. Flora and fauna possess the highest concentration of mana of living things. It can also become concentrated in gemstones.
Humans of this world have the smallest concentration of mana. Heroes, however, are said to have a legendary concentration of mana. Much is unknown about this however, if it is even true.
When a living thing dies, mana is dispersed into the world. However, if there is a strong negative emotional attachments remain. These ghosts cause hallucinations within a set space; each hallucination is different to those who see it.
Mana purportedly can be exchanged, however this is mostly hearsay and the exact methods of this are unknown.
Magic is fueled by mana. Humans of this world cannot do very much magic. Mythical creatures (mermaids, vampires, werewolves, etc) with a stronger concentration of mana are more adept. It is currently unknown the extent of which Heroes can access this.
